DESCRIPTION:
This is a delicious, colourful and healthy food.
The head has a slightly elongated shape and is brilliant green. The leaves are slightly crinkly with tender jagged tips. Its weight varies between 300 and 400 grams.

HEALTH ADVANTAGES:
This lettuce is rich in fibre, potassium and vitamins A and C. It also contains moderate quantities of vitamin D, E and K, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and sulphur. It has a laxative effect and has analgesic and sedative properties. Due to its low calorie content it is particularly suited for use in weight-loss diets.

USES IN THE KITCHEN:
It is used as a side dish and to decorate meat or fish dishes. It is also served alone or accompanied by other vegetables or aromatic herbs. As vinegar tears the leaves, we recommend dressing it with lemon.
